A little clarity can make room for a real pause.

Ourvia is designed for two adult partners to coordinate household life and make room for connection. Treat your partner with care and use Ourvia only for lawful, respectful purposes.

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or continuing after a material policy update, you agree to this User Policy. Ourvia may require you to review and accept the current version before you can create or share household content.

Adults only

Ourvia is intended for adults. Do not create an account for a child or invite a child to participate as a household member. Adults may enter household information involving children only when they have the right to do so and only as needed for their own household planning.

Respectful use

You may use Ourvia for ordinary household coordination, shared schedules, responsibilities, reminders, check-ins, and other supported features. You remain responsible for the content and instructions you enter, including anything you ask an AI-assisted feature to help create.

Do not use Ourvia to create, request, store, or share:

  • threats, encouragement of violence, or encouragement of self-harm;
  • harassment, bullying, stalking, coercion, intimidation, or targeted humiliation;
  • hateful or dehumanizing content directed at a protected group;
  • sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, or any sexual content involving a minor;
  • another person’s private or identifying information without a lawful and appropriate reason;
  • fraud, scams, spam, impersonation, malicious links, or attempts to gain unauthorized access;
  • instructions intended to make an AI-assisted feature produce illegal, exploitative, or seriously harmful material;
  • content that violates another person’s rights or any applicable law; or
  • other material that creates a serious safety risk or defeats the purpose of a private two-person household service.

Do not use reports, appeals, support requests, invitations, or other product controls to harass another person or interfere with the service.

Privacy and household content

Keep account credentials and verification codes private. Enter only information you are permitted to use. Ourvia is a shared household service, so content added to shared areas may be visible to the other household member. Private features and their boundaries are described in the Privacy notice.

Safety reports are designed to use categories, timestamps, and opaque references instead of copying household-authored text, calendar details, answers, names, notes, or AI output into moderation records. Do not email private household content unless support specifically confirms a secure and necessary way to provide it.

Reporting and household safety controls

When an in-app report control is available, use it to report prohibited content, unsafe AI output, or a safety concern. If that control is unavailable, contact support@ourvia.app with the minimum information needed to explain the issue. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card data, account exports, or unnecessary household screenshots.

Because Ourvia uses one shared two-person household rather than a public social feed, its blocking model is a symmetric household safety pause. When that control is available, either member can pause new shared activity for both members. Historical shared records remain readable, and account export, membership management, account deletion, and sign-out remain available. Support review is required to resolve a pause unless member departure resolves the shared relationship.

Enforcement

Ourvia may review categorical report information and the minimum account context needed to make a safety decision. Depending on severity, pattern, context, and risk, Ourvia may warn a member, reject or remove content, limit a feature, pause shared activity, suspend access, preserve evidence required for safety or legal reasons, or close an account.

Ourvia’s operating targets are to acknowledge urgent safety reports within 4 hours and reach an initial decision within 24 hours. For standard reports, the targets are acknowledgement within 24 hours and an initial decision within 72 hours. These are operational targets, not guarantees or emergency-response commitments.

Appeals

You may request review of a blocked write or an enforcement decision through an available in-app review control or by contacting support@ourvia.app. Ourvia’s operating targets are to acknowledge an appeal within 24 hours and reach an initial appeal decision within 72 hours. A different available reviewer should handle an appeal when practical.

Resolved or dismissed moderation-report records are retained for 180 days and then become eligible for removal under the documented retention process. Other account, security, billing, deletion, or legal records follow the applicable privacy and retention rules.

Emergencies

Ourvia is not an emergency service and does not continuously monitor household content. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource. Do not rely on an in-app report or support email for urgent protection.

Policy updates

Ourvia may update this policy as the service and its safety controls evolve. Material changes receive a new version and effective date, and Ourvia may require renewed acceptance before further shared-content use.

Questions about this policy may be sent to support@ourvia.app. Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@ourvia.app.
