About Ourvia
Built from a problem in our own home.
Ourvia began with bedtime in our own home. As parents of identical twin girls, we found that one person running point—and the other having room to handle what came next or take personal time—could turn a stressful handoff into a shared plan. That experience inspired a product that keeps connection beside the logistics.
Our story
Ourvia began with bedtime.
As parents of identical twin girls, we learned quickly that some of our hardest moments were not caused by a lack of effort. They happened when we were not clear about who was taking the lead.
Bedtime was the clearest example. When the girls were tired or having a difficult night, both of us trying to manage everything at once could create more confusion. It was also when our own patience was most likely to run out. Small frustrations could spill over when what we really needed was a clearer handoff.
Things worked better when one person was running point. The other could handle something elsewhere in the house, prepare for the next part of the day, or take some much-needed personal time. It did not always need to be a two-person job. It needed a shared plan.
That insight became the starting point for Ourvia.
As the idea developed, we realized that coordinating responsibilities was only one part of the problem. Parenting can consume an enormous amount of time and attention, and it can be difficult to keep a marriage close while managing everything a family needs.
We wanted a place for the relationship as well as the responsibilities. That led to Daily Questions, Couple Check-Ins, appreciations, and date planning. We also wanted an easier way to ask for time—whether that meant planning a date together or requesting personal time—without important details disappearing in a text thread or the request feeling harder than it needed to be.
Ourvia is being created around a simple belief: couples should be able to coordinate everyday life without letting the logistics take over their relationship.

Our perspective—not expert advice
Ourvia grew from our family’s experience, not from a claim that every couple or household works the same way. We are not presenting ourselves as relationship, medical, legal, or safety experts, and a planning product cannot resolve serious relationship conflict.
How Ourvia approaches content
Our guides and resources are meant to solve a practical reader problem before promoting the product. Research claims should point to credible primary or professional sources, and sensitive relationship material requires qualified human review before publication.
